Western Red Cedar is the only timber available in Australia that is suitable for all window and door manufacture in its original state – without the noxious chemical treatments that other species require to make them decay and insect resistant.

With its natural beauty and durability, it is easy to see why Western Red Cedar is so popular with window and door manufacturers and joineries.

Alongside our range of window and door components and other products, Natcedar has a range of premium grade sawn Western Red cedar timbers imported rough sawn from Canadian mills and remanufactured at our premises. Our sawn timbers are available in four standard sizes - 150 x 45, 150 x 50, 200 x 50 and 45 x 45.

We also produce engineered timber that is recognised for its superior stability and structural reliability, while maintaining the warmth and visual appeal of solid cedar.

Perfect for door stiles, the engineered timber is made by utilising the off cuts generated during our manufacturing process. The off cuts are laid out in brick formation to form long lengths. This timber is then glued and laminated with cedar veneer to create a component that is both aesthetically pleasing and structurally superior to solid timber.

Engineered timber components can be planed and worked as easily as solid cedar.
