National Cedar Componentry products approved by WERS and NATA

Six of National Cedar Componentry’s fine quality windows and doors have been given the thumbs up by NATA (National Association of Testing Authorities) and WERS (Window Energy Rating Scheme). Both these testing facilities are nationally recognised.

NATA tested NCC sliding door, awning, sliding, casement, traditional and double hung windows for Wind Deflection and Water Penetration which lends to the overall strength of the product. All passed at the required rate and some achieved greater results.

WERS gave us approval on the six NCC products for a generic rating of Energy Efficiency for use in homes Australia wide. The Energy Efficiency Rating shows how good cedar windows and doors are at preventing energy loss from homes. This prevention aids in the cause of minimising environmental impact. Launch of National Cedar’s logo
National Cedar Componentry is pleased to launch it’s new corporate branding and logo as part of it’s transformation program.

Blending both the traditions of NCC as established by John and Leila Buik, ( see story below), with the strong backing of Brian Hanlon, the new image provides both the direction and style of this very unique and successful Australian operation.

Our focus will be on maintaining the innovative product design(s), together with the outstanding quality associated with NCC. Along with this will be an increased customer service mantra of value added services and improved lead times.
